great mpg!

Well i live in new york(bronx) and was on the way up to Foxwoods for the weekend...The trip up there I averaged 27.7 miles per gallon and the trip back 26.5 mpg...I thought it was pretty good i mean correct me if im wrong but anyway...also consider that i was toying with a jetta on the way up there...

I agree. Considering the power the Max has on tap, it is amazing you can get that kind of mileage. I averaged 28 mpg last summer from Dallas to Denver.

The same trip in my vette averaged 10 mpg.....:mecry:

I love the max!

Here are my numbers...

From: AZ
To: DC
Distance: 2500+ miles
Speed: 70 - 90 mph
OVERALL AVERAGE MPG = 26.4

The MAX performed impressively in all realms. The ride seemed to get better as the miles were racking up! Many props to Nissan!!!

:: caveat :: For the record, my wife's Pathfinder got awful gas mileage on this trip...SUVs suck when it comes to fuel economy! She was @ 1/4 tank in her PATH when I was still @ 5/8 in the MAX @ every fuel stop...so essentially, I was filling up @ every other stop in my MAX... It was very expensive to drive her vehicle cross-country...especially using premium grade the whole way!!! :nupe500:

If you baby the car and keep it at 55-60 you will get ~30mpg. In the 75-85 range I seem to get anywhere between 28-26 mpg. In the city I tend to get 20 mpg.

I averaged the same numbers you guys did New York to Las Vegas driving at 80-90 MPH. I love it!
