how much for your 04-05 maxima (base) SE
I went to the nissan dealer, test drive the 05 white maxima sl w/automatic
wow , pretty fast   msrp was $27,930.00 (before $1000.00 rebate) I offered them $25k out the door best they could do was $27k out the door , Is that good deal :) |
nope.. it is not a good deal.. go to www.carsdirect.com or something. YOu should compare price before you buy it. If you can get the base for under $ 24k you should get it. 2005 Nissan Maxima SE automatic ( Base ) for $ 23,888 plus tax from my local dealer. You have to shop......

He was given a quote for 05 SL which has heated leather seats, HID headlights, and etc. I think $27k is good deal if it's "out the door" price. I don't know exactly how much they charge for tax and fees, but he's getting it for around $26k for base SL ( I'm just assuming it's the base SL he saw, it could be SL with some options). I think it's great deal... |
oh wait...he said MSRP was $27930. It's SE's MSRP.
which one did you see, corvettec6? if it was base SE you saw, it's not a good deal. if it was base SL you saw, then it's a great deal, i think... |
MSRP on 2005 SE is $27,350
MSRP on 2005 SL is $29,600 I am assuming he is talking about 2005 SE. |

I don't have a bse SE...I got almost a fully loaded one with leather, heated seats, xeon lights, spolier, VDC, TC for $24,500...granted I got one with 3k miles on it...I still thought the price was very good...I have had no problems with it such as shimmy or struts.
Someone told me today that the Maxima badging on the bottom of the door (where you get in the car) was an option...didn't even realize that until today...it does look nice. |

i got mine for 24500+tax, thought it was a good deal at the time, but i talked to my business 101 teacher who worked in the car industry for 20 some years and was in exec position and said you should start the negotiating at 20% off imports and 17% off domestics cus thats usually the margin (so shoudlve started at 22160 instead of 24500 which i started with), although the rule dosnt apply to luxury or sports cars as they usually have higher premieums.

I paid 23.825 for my base 2005 Max SE.
It included mud flaps and floor mats. You should try and get a better deal. -Louis |

I also bought my 03 maxima BRAND NEW there leather, sunroof, abs, a bit loaded over base not fully since i didnt have BOSE(who needs it i was going to upgrade anyways lol) i paid 20K flat for it same place, ive seen you guys pay WAY over.

He still sells some grills for other cars, but I'm not sure if he got one for 6th gen maxima. You can search him in ebay and send him an email. |

please do not post your hearsay on here as fact. Yes it can run okay on 87. but 93 is "recommended." Nissan makes no $$ off of this recommendation. it is the fuel the engine was designed to run on. so if you want the best possible performance, use 93. now the engine with adjust accordingly to which octane you use. it is up to you to decide if the money saved is worth more than performance lost and/or possible problems. best way is to pick one for several tanks and compare, or go off other's experiences/opinions. but please do not switch around. choose one according to what you feel is more important. |
corvette . maxima are onsale. this one is from Hayward Nissan.
New 2005 Nissan Maxima SE $23,588!!! MSRP: $28,200 -$3,612 dealer discount and $1,000 factory rebate. 5 at this price. |
