Shortening the stick shift **** & clutch

Couple of questions...

1. Has anyone shorten the stick shift **** yet? I thought it would be cool and even more fun to shift, if the stick was cut to shorter length.

2. I know Edify had already asked, but does anyone know how to shorten the clutch? I'm not sure about you guys, but I think the clutch is a bit long.

Main reason for above questions is just to shift gears more quickly in general.

Thanks!
