if i buy the y pipe from custoM enterprise ..and buy the greddysp2 does it come with stainless steel catback if not where can i get a catback..and magna flow muffler 14830 model...what parts would i be wasting??
if so waht should i buy SP2 or magna flow.but do the sp2 come with a pipe where the Y pipe goes?? how much horse power should i expect from these mods including stillen high flow with berk mid pipe or berk with mid pipe and apexi filter or injen CAI intakes.??which intake should i get?all together how much horse power should i get??dynoed estimate..and how much is stock dynoed(i saw this somwhere.)??if i buy the magna flow mufflers for 150 each is it a wastoe only for the pipes from greddy SP??PLEASE REPLY WILL BE HELPFUL

I think you are going to find a wdie variety of answer to how much horsepower - anywehre from amost nothing to maybe 30 hp. I think your intakes are going to range from about 4-10 hp. A y-pipe plus exhaust will probably yield 10-20 hp. I just bougth an underdrive pulley, so Ill find out howthat is. The claimed power for that is anywhere from 2-8 hp. There is a LOT of hype in the performance industry. There are a lot of ways to gain more power that is real, but its usually expensive. Supercharging and/or turbo charging is one way. Cams are gonig to give you 15 real hp. Lightening the flywheel also will give u more power. Getting lightened wheels helps too. If you put ur car on a diet, there are ways of increasing acceleration. The above-mentioned lightweight items, plus lighter battery (Optima for example) removing the spare tires and jack will help.

the greddy does not come with a y-pipe, it comes with a "cat back" from the cat back means this

you see where the "cat" is, well starting with the b-pipe back all the way to the muffler that would be what you get from greddy..

greddy cat back= a b-pipe muffler section

magnaflow= it uses you stock b-pipe and pipes. all you get is a muffler..

the y-pipe is a totaly diffrent unit. you can get the greddy and a y-pipe all together.

I don't think the magnaflow will fit the greedy pipes unless they have been modified. you can get a b-pipe from coustom enterprice. you'll have to call though cause they don't list b-pipe for a 2004+ maxima.

Our cat is part of the Y pipe so that diagram isnt totally acurate. Good for showing someone what a basic exhaust setup looks like.

ok sorry for not understanding..but if i get the b pipe and the y pipe from custom enterprise where can i get just the cat back??stainless steel..and will magna flows fit the b pipes from custom enter prise??and how much HP will i get for the B +Y pipe and magnaflow ...and when they say like 5~15hp..whats does that claim??some same cars can get more and some can get less??thanks for ur replys..

if you got the y-pipe and the magnaflows, just get the b-pipe thats it... the magnaflows connect to the piping already there wich will not be removed... you are all set just like that....

you could go to any reputable muffler shop and get your mandrel bent catback exhaust piping. this is 04redopmax's setup
