I can't believe

that the intake thread has had more posts than the shimmy thread...

FreeRyder Oct 4, 2005 05:44 PM

Why is that? If this forum starts to only focus on things that go wrong with our car it would become very depressing.... We all have a shimmy.... We are all mad..... Enough said.

Actually, I don't have a shimmy--any more. Perhaps it's because I'm not a modder, but why waste a couple of hundred dollars on an intake that may only gain you less than 5 hp?

:because it's gansta .. ugh :ugh: I mean ricer! :chebosto:

NismoMax80 Oct 4, 2005 06:35 PM

I can fix that, looksee what I do..........

btw no shimmy here, nor will I get an Intake (unless someone hooks me up with a nismo one)

the bulk came from testosterone overdrive.

MAXIMA-GHOST Oct 4, 2005 09:52 PM

NismoMax80 Oct 4, 2005 10:20 PM

i have the K&N. snug fit, but working okay so far. (knock, knock). I simply like cleaning it instead of constantly buying and replacing. I think I got it from Courtesy Nissan with an order of other things.

I also have a K&N drop-in and removed the resonator. Don't know how much air the intake needs but believe this provides enough.

I purchased this at AutoZone.

Yeah, I just got my K&N. I seem to get better mileage.

The people who post must think that intakes are more important than the shimmy. The numbers don't lie. While the results may surprise you, may even be contrary to what you want, they are what they are.
