try e-bay or craigslist. i just saw a bumper on ebay earlier this week for the 6th gen. It wasn't the smoke color but hell that can be painted.

hello guys, i have a sad story to share too :(

i have a black 2007 nissan maxima. my buddy from work hit my car from the side. so basically, the left side of the bumpers scratched up, and since it's plastic - it's all like scratched and got messed. and the top of the car, let me show you a picture - like a rough example,i wasnt even in the car, i feel like **** - 2007 man, brand new :( - so he said he'll cover it all and said it's all his fault. i'm attachin a picture, i've used a members picture and edited it. i hope he doesn't mind, i apologize in advance - it's just an example. i didn't have any pictutres in hand. but yeah hopefully this gives you guys a rough idea. i really am very upset that it happened. it's not that visible but still i want it to look brand new. so you guys tell me whats the best bet, i'm guessing i have to change the whole bumper and the side fender since it has a slight dent it it's all scratched up. please advise on the costs - i'd really appreciate it. so i'm guessing new bumper + new side fender and installations :( - ahh. i just hope nissan does it for me asap. thanks a lot guys

I only trust one shop around here to paint anything on my car, that Bissel in Ajax. They work on mostly cadillacs and German stuff. But man, when I saw how niceley they fixed my ripped bumper.... :sprint:

Anywhoo, your buddy is in for a shocker when he finds out how much nissan will charge him for the work.....
