Steering Wheel Radio Control not working

My FF track and RW track button intermittently works. I want to avoid the stealership. Does anyone know how to remove the panels to access those controls?
Does anyone know what may cause this ? If I want it to work I have to turn it on and off or turn my steering wheel 1/4 turn.

I don't know what the cause is but I would take it to the dealer if still under warranty.

opps, sorry, I just saw the "take the two panels off" and thought that it went a little more n depth, but I guess not.

Anyways, i'm sure that the silver pieces on the steering wheel just pop off with a little force, not positive, but there are no screws holding it, so it has to be clipped on like most of the things on the car.

good luck
