Also, removed the amber strip and replaced it with clear.

I really like it, except for that paint...or vinyl...or whatever it is. That doesn't look too good.

jreilly04 03-08-2007 05:43 AM

I definitely like it better with the amber strip removed. I'm sure it will look even better after washing that filthy beast.:D

I wish I had the cahones to pull apart my headlights and black em out, looks great. Its one of those mods, while subtle, really sets your car apart.

It just takes methodical work to get the job done. If you are careful, it really wasn't that bad of a job. Just allow a block of time to get the job done. I do get a lot of comments on the headlights. Some people say the car looks different but they were not sure why.

Xvert is located in brooklyn, NY. He's going to remove the amber strip and black out my headlights. I'm getting a detail after it's done, so I'll be sure to post some pics..

I actually really like the look. Just one opinion, though.

ecks 03-21-2007 08:26 AM

i like it a lot man.. how hard was the removal/replacement of the amber strip? is it available prefabbed or did you have to make it yourself?

CDEHDARANI 03-26-2007 06:36 PM

Those are smooth, what did you do to have your fogs turn on without the heads?

X-Vert 03-26-2007 07:18 PM

If anyone wants their headilghts done... email me: nycretailers@gmail.com or IM me via AIM: MaloyX

06maxSE 04-02-2007 12:18 PM

what is x-vert is it a body shop or something?

xoomer.com 04-02-2007 01:02 PM

I think the eyelids normally look great, I think a set that would follow the lines and is evenly applied would look awesome.

Bullard_07 04-11-2007 10:35 AM

Yea I've always wanted to remove that side orange/amber piece!! HOW THE F$#! do you do that? is it that hard?!?
