Where is the IAT located on the 6th gens????

where is the IAT sensor found onthe 6th gens??? my friend bought me some weak *** IAT SENSOR mod on ebay . he said he felt CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZY gains on his car ... i told him to go Fcku himself im not waisting my money....he LOL at me and said its 15 bucks try it... I once again said F U hahahah well for my bday he got me it ... anyway it says i need to installl this weak looking mod in the 2 holes on the IAT .... I know it wont do a thing but i was free and worth a try... anyone know where its at????

It's inside the MAF sensor housing, sitting aside the actual sensor itself. It does nothing for your car.

ya i figured as much on it doing nothing... Its funny the guy on ebay says 100% money back guarenteeeeeeee ...hahaha guess illl have my buddy return it... 35 hp + HAHAHAHA...

So since i have a fujita CAI and the fujita has the MAF bulit in the intake i would have to take teh MAF off and then do the mod and then but it back in the MAF spot on the fujita??

To get this straight, the stock IAT does help determine parameters for optimal performance.

The eBay version, however, does not.

And yes, that is what you would have to do to 'switch' them.

this thing is a joke hahaha its like an inch and a half long .... and looks like a glob of electrical tape in the middle... how can this guy stay in business saying he offers money back guarentttteeeee if u dont feel a diff..

That part is like $.01 (exaggerated to show the point) in the right places.

The seller knows it won't do crap that is why he offers 100% guarantee. For that kind of money, he knows nobody is going to bother and they'll just let go. If somebody has beef, he just does a refund probably only after you have to send the part back. Further money out of your packet. There is plenty of items like that on ebay and surprisingly the seller has high sales with lots of positive feedback.

The IAT is built-in the MAF on the 6th gen. See pic below. This is how the MAF looks like. No wires to cut or jump. Sorry. Buy the thermostat sensor resistor instead.
