My '06 w/12k on the odo had an unfortunate encounter with a moon-sized crater last night. The tire has a bubble and the suspension is making some weird noises on the passenger front side.

I know I am going to have to eat the cost of the tire (right?), but what about the repairs to the suspension? Is that covered under the 3/36K warranty? I have an appt at the dealer tomorrow.

Any ideas? (no mods to the car, it's all stock)

Got a bubble, very slight one also, was hoping to pin it on stealership...... what are the odds? Not looking good.

I do think ur suspension will be covered however, might wanna fx the tire first ofcourse, so they don't think you did it!

I concur, fix the tire on your own, then bring her in for suspension work.

I'd think damage caused by the roads should be covered by the DOT. of course it'd be hard to prove at this point, I guess.

Update: Broken strut and tie rod, and need a new tire. The awesome news is that the dealer is going to cover the strut and tie rod replacement under warranty!!!!!!!!!!

I'm only out $311 for a new tire. Schweet!
