Looking good. I have the same setup. Generally I am happy with the braking. I got mine installed at the dealership. They put it on with the slots pointing in the opposite direction as you have. I also noticed a lot of people who installed these the way the dealership did on mine. I was searching and found chernmax's thread on rtp+EBC. He has it installed as you did. In that thread no one really reached a consensus on the right way of installation. When I went back to check with the tech at the dealership, he said it does not matter how you put them on. I asked Rich from rotorpros and he confirmed that my setup was right. So I still don't know what is right. Anyways you will initially hear a lot of scratching with intense braking and some dust but it keeps getting better everyday. I am going back to the dealership again because I am hearing a fast clicking noise from the rear passenger side, it sounds like a paper held against the spokes of a spinning bicycle wheel and happens only when I am braking from 50-60 down to 20 and happens only when the brakes are warm. Not otherwise. I will let you know what we find. My advice would be to make sure that you have the pads properly in position in the calipers.

How would i know if they were not in proper postion with the caliper?
It looks fine to me... I HOPE lol.....

I don't know how you would accomplish that. I researched and found out that vibration of the pads within the caliper can cause that fast clicking sound. Also let me know if you feel any difference in the feel of the brake pedal. I feel a vibration when I brake hard. Otherwise it has smoothened out pretty good. I would go easy on them for the first 500-800 miles. I did not break the pads in, I just went easy. So for so good....except for that sound. Its awesome that you are doing it yourself. Like I said...looking good! Now get some pics of the fronts. Also I got the dupli-color red caliper paint kit. I think it is good.

I was told that if you install slotted rotors with them pointing backwards then you will have moderate/normal braking. If you install them pointing forwards you will have more aggresive braking.

Actually the direction of the slots is more dependent on the angle or direction of the rotor vains and which way they channel air. All drilled/slotted are not made the same...

Believe it or not with the rotopros I found it really didn't matter because the vains went straight verse my current Wilwood rotors which are curved and had to go a certain direction in order to properly channel the air through the rotors as designed. I think it looks great and I wouldn't worry about it.

Rotors are looking great. Like the wheels too.
Yeah my local shop that installed my rotors installed the front ones so that they went like \ and the rear ones went like /. I don't know if it makes any difference but whatever it stops on a dime and better than warped stock rotors.

You have to adjust the inner parking brake shoes to just barely touch the inner drum assembly. Use the adjustment screw throught that little hole with the ruber cap. Or call me

very nice, works very well and the brakes improve with every mile
I don't know about the direction but rotorpros put a piece of tape on the driver side rotors and I left it and the shop installed them that way, as what direction they go in, long as front and back match and I've seen several MB E350 with the front pointing back /

Brake pads require a brake in period, I also had a slight sound because I had the exact same setup, after about 5 days or depending on how much you drive and brake, it should go away...

thanks for the props chris

the pads are much better than stock though. i just got home from dinner... it stops great.. sound is going away more and more.. I think it was just a brake in thing..
