RacingLine endlinks bushings

Hey guys, had a question about the RacingLine endlinks. I not too long ago installed a Stillen FSTB and a Progress RSB and i would like to get the RacingLine endlinks to install on the Progress RSB seeing that Progress does not make their own endlinks. Right now the stock endlinks work fine, but a number of max.org members have advice me to change them and that will also help with the performance.

I was talking to Brian from Cattman and he said that the RacingLine endlinks bushings usually burst after a while. Can anyone confirm this?

He was probably referring to the V1 set, now the V2 set has reinforced bushings with metal inserts.

are there any signs to know if your V1s need upgraded besides visual inspection? and what would you notice?

I dont think I had issues with the v1s per say, but blew bushings like they were silly putty. V2s have been a joy with the new bushings

If you hear a clunking coming from your sway bar on cornering..... there maybe a possibility one of the bushings is gone. V2 bushings eliminate allmost all bushing failure problems.

Fixed

Bushing failure on th V1 style endlink was a result of 2 issues, (1) the maxima being a heavier car than what the endlinks were originally designed for, and (2) I had switched suppliers who had quality issues. Depending on the time frame when the V1`s were bought will determine if there are potential bushing failures.

V2 rear bushings are custom graphite empregnated poly bushings with metal inserts made by energy suspension......They will not fail!

When are the front endlinks going to be resupplied and will they have the same bushings as the rears? My front wheel is still clunking over little bumps and its got to be the end links!?!?!?!?

Nah, I just replaced the OEM struts with new Monroe SensaTrac struts. On smooth roads its great but whenever I hit holes in the road it gives that BUMP noise from the right front wheel. It doesn't usually do it on hump in the road, usually when the wheel freefalls from broken pavement then once it hits bottom and starts to rebound I get the BUMP noise. I figure its the endlink that has too much play in it and then it allows the swaybar to move freely and wiggle.

What brand are they? I dont want OEM b/c they just suck. Did you have the same type of sound and loose feeling in the suspension?
