Part # for 3rd Brake light plastic cover.
I have an 05 Maxima and planning in putting the 07+ wing. I was planing on getting rid of the 3rd brake light on the rear dash. Anybody know the part number for this? My car's interior is gray.
I wonder if I should just leave it there? What do you think? Opinions welcomed....

i don't think Nissan intended for anyone to remove the light.

maybe place a piece of carpet underneath the existing carpet.

There is a peice that covers the space when you remove the light. When you go to the dealer tell them you need the 3rd brake cover for a 2007 maxima because you are installing the spoiler. They wont find it if you tell them it's for 04 to 06. It cost between $26 and i guess 36 depends on the dealer. Use the search feature it's been discuss with links to online nissan stores that you can purchase the peice from if your dealer cant get it and it's been done by a few members on here.

I did it. You can go to the stealership and ask for a brake light cover for an 07 Maxima. I did it when I put my WRX rear spoiler on.

Guess it pays to know the parts manager at Nissan...just got mine in Charcoal for $20.19 GREAT SUCCESS!
