Friend Buying 2008 Max

Hey guys...
did some research and here was my thought process:

2008 Max SL
Loaded wo nav

you think she would be able to walk in with cash in hand, and get the max for:

$27500?

She is not getting it from this dealer...

Reference Point from Carmax Nissan in MD:
2008 Nissan Maxima SL 4D Sedan
Destination charges, dealer prep. $0
MSRP $33,425
Factory invoice $30,551
You save on MSRP $6,157
Maryland No-haggle price $27,268*^

Thoughts?

I just bought an 08 SL, sticker was $35660 and I got it for $29500. So I'd say your deal is pretty good. It's basically invoice minus $3000 customer cash back.

I'd go lower if I had cash in hand.

Cash in hand makes a big difference and plus the way the economy is right now dealerships are just glad if people are walking on the parking lot to look at cars.

offer them 20k in cash, the dealer and Nissan is still probably making 10k on the car

Are there still incentives on the 08 Maxima? They want them off the lot since the 09s are here.

What stealership? Germain Nissan are a bunch of crooks. Ricart are ok, I got them to do invoice on one of my cars (before incentives). Haven't dealt with the north or west side stealerships.

she lives in philly... so we are running around there.

Here in OH I have been to buckeye (and I like them the best), north, and germain.
When the time comes, I'll go to who ever gives the best price.
