Fujita CAI filter replacement/backup

Yeah, I think it's that time. Haven't cleaned my Fujita since I had it installed more than a year ago... considering also buying a 2nd filter as a backup (while original filter is drying after cleaning)... I could go with an F5 replacement, but that wouldn't feed my Apexi curiosity. Anyone know what size filter element I would need from Apexi for the Fujita? ('04)

Then it will be off to browse the group deals section...

P.S. From what I understand and read at the F5 site, it's a dry filter, so only warm soapy water is needed... correct me if I'm wrong on that... Same for the Apexi filters too... ?

I've read that you can use the K&N filter cleaning kit that's sold in auto parts stores.

I have the nismo filter and all I did was wash with water and let dry with the sun. You need to be careful with the oil as Ive heard some excessive use causes MAF issues.

Yeah... From what I understand, the Fujita filter is dry, so only warm water and soap is needed.

My original Fujita filter was covered in a lite film of oil, the replacement I bought was completely dry, I currently have 39k on the filter, I might change it at my next oil change

The cone filter is just a 3inch filter, autozone sells them
