A/C questions

ok- i tried to search, but came up with no answers so- since its getting cooler out, i dont use the A/C too often. the last few days have been rainy, damp and warm.... so, to dry the car (it was sticky inside) i put the A/C on low fan and set it at 60*.

it wasnt that cool so i switched to the defogger and heard the 'whooosh' in the dash (im assuming the vents changing) but it keeps on making that sound- when i switch it back to (recirculate) the cabin air on 60*, its still not very cold.

any ideas?

the ONLY thing that has changed with the HVAC system is that i changed the in-cabin filter not long ago (and broke the clips of the door damnit)

i havent checked it yet, but im wondering of the filter door isnt sealed or something.

this car is slowly starting to **** me off.

strut noise, warped rotors and now the a/c

well if the compressor isn't engaging then you have a bad leak it's been none to happen on our cars and if theres no freon then the compressor won't engage have the system
checked i guess im lucky so far i haven't had any issues with that yet

The compressor engaging and the cabin sound are not related.
