how hard is it 2 install a y-pipe?

is installing a y-pipe something anyone can do? does it just bolt on

Good tools=easy install.

I think it's about 10-12 bolts that are easy to access with the right tools. Make sure that your gaskets are intact because if they are not then you should get new ones to prevent leaks. O2 sensor requires a special socket to take off, but if you're lucky then you can do it with some good vise grips...just make sure to not damage it.

okk so i jack up the car unscrew some bolts and put new ones on is that basically it

yea, I think it is only 8 bolts...if I were you I would soak the bolts in pb blaster or other penetrating oil for about 2 days prior to removing the pipe because they might be rusted on. I just got mine installed(thanks prjctmax), but I had to take it to a shop because 1 bolt was stuck so tight a 1/2 drive impact wrench couldn't even budge it...but if you're lucky, it's as simple as removing the one pipe and putting in the other
