Popular Vehicles???

I get AutoWeek every week and K&N has one whole page with a Mustang on the front. The interesting part is they have a list of "Popular Vehicles" with the part#'s. At the very top is Nissan Altima 3.5L and second Nissan Maxima 3.5L. The rest of the vehicles follow in this order.......

Honda Civic 1.8L
Honda Accord 2.4L
Toyota Corolla 1.8L
Toyota Camry 2.4L
Chrysler 300 2.7L
Chevy Impala 3.4L
Chevy Corvette 6.0L
Ford Mustang 4.6L
Ford Explorer 4.0L
Cadillac Escalade 5.3L

What made them put Nissan at the top? Does this mean we have a popular aftermarket or just popular from the show room floor? What do you guys think?

Maybe because the VQ35 is used in so many Nissan/Infiniti vehicles and the K&N drop in filter is the same for most of them?

That's probably it, same P/N filter since the 90's for all my Nissans; Sentra, Altima, Pathfinder, Maximas.

Also, the Maxima used to be the bread and butter car for Nissan before the Altima came around. Now the Altima is the best seller.
Other cars that use the VQ35 are the Quest, Murano, G35, FX35, and 350Z but those cars are not as common as the Maxima and Altima.

So for advertising purposes, if you have limited space, you want to appeal to as much of the general public as possible...so you put the Maxima and Altima to get noticed by the Maxima and Altima owners. I'm sure K&N did a lot of research before putting that ad in the magazine.

Cant post a topic yet, so maybe I can find an answer here. I have a squeek type of sound possibly shock related coming from my front drivers tire area. "URRRH EEEHH", any info or advise on what it is, should i worry?

See my post "Grinding Noise" I have a similar problem, but mine sounds like more of a grind. It's coming from the same area though. I've received replies that suggest it may be a wheel bearing.

It also can be your strut. Take it to the dealer to check it out.
