rotten egg smell
was driving my car a couple weeks ago on the freeway, drivin about 75-80 on the way and i started to get a rotten egg smell. it would smell really bad inside the car(windows up) then just go away, been driving the car since and have been trying to duplicate the problem but it wont, i have extended warranty but i did some research and it sounds like from what i read that my cats are bad or something bout injectors, is it true that under federal emmision standards this has to be covered by the car manufacturer for 8yrs or 80,000 miles. any ideas whether im right or wrong about any of this? what should i do now?

I had this happen once too when I had my fifth gen. Could be a lot of things, including some bad gas. I poured some of that STP fuel system cleaner in, and it worked perfectly afterwards. I know Nissan is not a fan of using any fuel system additives, so don't make a habit of using it.
