Walbro Fuel Pump Failure

Walbro Fuel Pump Failure
Alright I have a few questions for the guru's or anyone that has knowledge about these fuel pumps going in these cars. I have an 06 Altima SE-R with some mods including a Walbro 190 because I spray from time to time. My car has been running like a$$ for a few months but I haven't really jumped on it to fix it because I doin't drive it everyday and I was waiting to install my headers. I'm getting Bank 1 is too lean, so since then I have had my injectors flow tested and cleaned and the o-rings replaced, I've gotten brand new primary and secondary 02 sensors, I tried switching mafs with a friend a doing an idle relearn and it still didnt fix the problem. Now that I pay more and more attention to it my fuel pump doesn't make the noise it used to, doesn't prime the car very well at first start up because it takes a while to start, and under load the car cuts out, spits and sputters. So now I am under the impression that my fuel pump is going or has gone bad and isnt doing what it's supposed to.
My main question is if I go from a walbro 190 to a 255 will I need a FPR?
I know of a couple people that have done it without the regulator and they are spraying nitrous and say they are fine but I wanna make sure I can get away with this before I go buy one. And I do have an SAFCII for tuning purposes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sean

Ok I found my answer but I have another question. I don't know a lot about these fuel pumps so forgive me.
Can your fuel pump still be bad or going bad even if it still has a little bit of noise coming from it and "sounds" like it's flowing??
The noise isn't nearly as loud as it was when I first got it so thats why I'm asking...

Talked with Sean today over the phone, my opinion to him based on my experience and my Walbro 255 pump is he should be good to go without additional tuning required. Fuel pressure regulator also not required. I don't have one and I'm boost and have never had a fuel issue and I also have bigger injectors (440cc).

you will be find switching from 190L to 255L , I ran a 255L in my SR20DET and my KA-T with no FPR , one running with safc2 and the other was JWT ECU. Just as long as you can adjust Fuel from the piggy back then your good to go.
