Sad day for the Max
Today in Jacksonville AR my Maxima was water damaged on the interstate. My car got bogged down and would not start. After several tries to start it up it finally started and I drove it home. Every warning light inside the car is on, the car sounds like a broke down truck. I'm think about trading it in for a used car. My Max is on life support keep her in your prayers.:bawling:

I have a Fujita cai on the car. The only reason why I had continued to drive thru the water because I had my kids in the car and I would have got stuck in the water. The water was so high as soon as I opened the door water was rushing in the car. I could not see the water because it was at night. At that point and time I was only worried about my kids.

Pull the spark plugs out , rotate the crank by hand until its TDC , the go a full revoultion BDC , then TDC at Cyclinder #1
Drain the Oil out , use a compressor and try to blow off the water in the engine bay. Also take the Fijita out , Clean and dry the MAF sensor and check if water got into the TB. You might be able to save the motor. EDIT: Disconnect the Battery BTW |
water
Sorry to hear about your car..........worth trying a few things for a save, she looks to nice to let go. Good luck!

Your insurance might cover it. I once hit a pot-hole on the expressway and totalled the car. They paid for it, but considered it a "one-car collision." Unless you're a mechanic, take it to somebody who knows what they're doing.
