6thGen Total'd In LI Accident-2TheMax05 Old Car
The Huntington Manor Fire Department and Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded to a crash after a Nissan Maxima struck and split a utility pole on Round Swamp Road near Manetto Hill Road in West Hills, Monday night, January 18, 2010. The pole and electrical wires fell on top of the car, and the driver was trapped for about 40 minutes until power was shut and firefighters were able to extricate the patient with heavy rescue tools. The patient was airlifted by Suffolk Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Medical Center.
**The pic was PHOTOSHOPPED by EDDYMAXX making the background black & leaving the color of the car. This is a REAL accident LOL** ***THIS WAS FELIX'S [2THEMAX05] OLD CAR*** Heres a pic of the accident.... http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c16/MaxJ04/Crash.jpg |

On second thought, how the hell is he still alive after that?? It takes some serious forces to mangle a car like that. Wow, he's a lucky man.

lol looked real at first but looks totally fake now

Not sure Newsday would photochop an accident and falsify a story to go with it...
http://www.newsday.com/long-island/l...ccidents-1.180 I was just looking at the paper online this morning and saw it pop up...I never put 2 and 2 together until after i posted in the chatbox and someone else recognized it. Drivers gotta be pretty hurt after this, hopefully he ends up OK. |
ok now i believe it. the pic above does look fake compared to the site link. he still must have been moving that car for a wrap up like this. street tires in the winter is not a good choice and to be flying on this is a great mistake. hope the kid is alright though
|
:( :( yea its real fellas sold it while back hurts to see my accomplishment go to sh!!!,I had left maxima community while back and purchased a 335i, young kid didnt appreciate a nice car just hope hes ok. This is how she left my hands.

honestly, im surprised the kid survived the 40 min waiting to get extracted. prayers for him and his family, but doesnt look good. seen much more minimal wraps yield no survivors
|
wierd.. the picture posted is different than the one on the website.
|
yea, looks like someone made only the car in color, maybe the op to emphasize the car since it used to belong to a member here..
|
Holy S_-H_-_ I_-T. Kid thought it was a race car. 6thgen aint no race car. Drive according to the size of the car.
|
WOW, I hope the kid is ok, prayers to them and their family.
|
ouch , I hope the driver is OK ,
sucks he had to crash on that date ! |
:rotz: daYAMMMM!!!!

The Crash
As one of the utility guys who responded to this thing, I just wanted to point out that the picture you see here doesn't begin to show the damage to that car.
That pole was being touched on 3 sides by the car, it is in fact where the passenger seat was. Both front seats were pushed into the back seats and the frame bent upwards. I do not know how the kid in the car is or what his injuries were, but I will tell you matter of factly, had there been a passenger in the car they would have been obliterated as a front seat passenger, and would have at the very least lost their legs in either of the back seats. The crash site was a few hundred feet beyond a serious curve in the road which has a 20 mph speed limit... the fact that this car bounced off a large rock ( placed there to protect the electrical box you see in the picture ) and still broke the pole in half while moving it about a foot in the ground, says to me he was doing well over 75 mph, to do that much damage to the pole and car. IF he survived, he was amazingly lucky. As was anyone who might have been in the lane he crossed over before crashing. |
Wow! His guadian angels must have had their hands wrapped around him. That is some miracle accident for him to make it out alive. May he recover and become a better driver. He is lucky he did not have a passenger nor hit another car.
|
That is crazy, a true testament to the 6th gen if he is alright...
|
The picture was photoshopped by Eddymax originally n i took it from him. Its a real accident lol not madeup..Felix sold the car n the dude crashed it. Sad
|
Thanks for the info. This thread should be a "sticky" for members. They visit this site for performance parts and body kits. Provide something like this for those who don't know any better.
|
WOW...just wow
best wishes to the kid....lesson learned the hard way |
hopefully no one died
