Clearing a CEL

I had some issues with a mass air flow sensor, which since then have been fixed. I dont however have a OBD reader. Is there any way I can clear out that code without the use of a OBD reader?

Thanks,
Vik

This thing doesn't work on 6th gen. Nor Taking the the battery cable off reset the ecu. But i am surprise if it did for you. .

However i think its better to go to a autozone if you have one near you. it's free. If not then you have to wait (60 or more-Start) for the Ecu to get over with it and reset it self. ( only If ur car is not throwing any code) <---- well that is what Nissan tech told me... hmmmmm

It works just fine. I'm not sure what happened when you tried it. You probably weren't pressing and releasing the gas pedal fast enough for the 5x in 5 seconds (steps 2a and 2b). I had that problem the first time I tried it.

VIK:

No problem man. Let us know how it works for you.

Didnt work for me, I tried it pretty fast, I even went to the extent of using a stop watch.

Autozone around me I cannot trust, those guys are all douchebags and there have been instances with them messing with cars so I cannot trust them or go there

Ok update, I tried another few times after seeing that some needed to try this a few times before it worked and yes, it does work you have to be a bit precise with the time. Timing is key.

Thank you Crime, Kc and Shabnyc all help is appreciated.
