Suspension questions

I ordered some eibach springs from what I have read on this forum they are the most comfortable springs with a nice drop. I'm just worried about the struts/shocks. I don't want too stiff of a ride, so I would rather ride on the OEMs, but I don't want my struts to blow months later. I'm gonna have a shop do the install so thats why I want to do it once and do it right. Do most of you think my struts will survive the 2 inch drop in the front? I have 67K miles on an 04 max. I drive fairly simply, no cornering really. I just want my wheel gap gone.

I just installed Eibach springs with KYB GR-2. What an improvement, I'd say 110% improvement. It rides great and finally feel nice and tight, like a sports car. Eliminated about 50% of body roll too. I just installed the suspension yesterday, its not settled yet. It will go down another 1/2 inch or so. Get the GR-2s dude, your have 67K on the stock ones, they wont last long with the drop and will cost you more to do this again in few months. KYB GR-2 struts are 185 shipped dude, get them. You wont regret it. Sell the stock suspension or keep it.

I ordered the kyb struts to now. Also if anyone in Miami has done this install before I will pay you for your time, bring some beers, and work with you to install struts/shocks and springs. I just have no experience in this, and not alot of tools. I want to learn and like to work on my car. Otherwise I'll hit a shop

If you lived close, I'd do it for free. Find someone local, it will be a lot cheaper.

installed my kyb's about 3 weeks ago on progress springs and it was a big improvement over the stocks. if you want it even tighter for handling get the progress rear sway bar and the racingline strut bar and its night and day difference. i just recently added the altima front sway bar and its off the hook now. plus i ride on 22's

How bad is the ride? Can't be anywhere near stock?

BTW... what kind of rims are those?

I gotta replace mine badly, I'm ordering Monroe shocks & struts on monday. How long have you been riding on Monroe shocks & struts?

Your setup looks nice but sounds like it's harsh though. Did you guys change the strut mounting plates and strut boots? Can I just reuse the boots from my stock unit?
