Radiator fan replacement
Anyone replaced theirs? The bearings are going out on one of mine and its making lots of noise.
Oreilly's had it for about $170, but I found this on eBAY: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-08...Q5fAccessories Anyone had experience with these types of vendors? I assume its some cheap Chinese knock off, so I'm a little scared to buy it. |
You can get the OEM motor for cheaper, you dont need the fan just use the original.

Wouldn't that be more expensive than the entire unit? Looks like the motor is over $100 and the ebay unit is $80 unless I'm missing something.
Why pay more for a motor when you can get a whole new assembly for less. I ordered the same exact one from Ebay and its very good quality. 1 year warranty. Replaced it after an accident. Looks just like the picture. |
I replaced mine a few months ago. It was making an ugly vibrating noise. I picked one up at bap import auto parts for 135 with tax.
