Struts and Shocks

Going to replace the struts, struts mounts and shocks on my sons 2005 SE. Cost of items from Nissan is just too high. Cost of KYB and Monroe are about the same. Sachs is more the KYB or Monroe but less the Nissan. For those who have replaced their struts and shocks is anyone of the three better than the others.
Son only hoping to get a couple of more years out of the vehicle so probably not going to use Sachs due to the cost unless they are much better than KYB or Monroe.
