Which means piggy back computer and tuning cost. That alone can equal $400-1000+ depending

I would agree that the best mods for the max are the intake, exhaust, and ecu mod

CAI, UR/UDP, FSTB, RSTB, NWP Isothermal Spacers, NWP Via Plate, Polished IM, Y-pipe, NKG Iridium Sparkplugs, Custom Catback, Eurorotor X-drilled, Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads, Trenz Grille w/Japanese Trunk Emblem, Tinted Windows, etc. Considerng JET computer.

"The NGK IX Iridium showed a 2.76hp average increase and a 5.85lb-ft average torque increase over the stock plug, however, the IX Iridium also showed the most consistent and reliable horsepower figures."

That's a quote from NKG using an independant test lab!

It flies OK...that's all you need to know!

if you want to start you have to choose one of those

the first is have no cost

1_ CAI
2_ Sport Pully
3_ Headers

if you want v nice acc & that almost 30 hp

1_ Cam
2_ Exhaust
3_ some programming or computer tuning

See why do people always think intake and exhaust are the best mods....

No worries about cost, the best mods are:
Cams, headers, nwp spacers, ypipe, intake, bpipe/mufflers, pulley.
And of course a piggyback tuning device used in conjunctions with mods will allow you to get the most out of your bolt ons.

^^^^ What happened to three? But good call on the NWP spacers, I forgot about those.

After reading through this if cost is a consideration.
1. Y-pipe
2. Catback
3. Spacers or CAI (CAI lose low end but gains on highway pulling power) Pick your poison)

hmm

I'd say

1. Turbocharger (or supercharger, whichever suits you)
2. NISMO or K&N Cold Air Intake
3. Header upgrade

wish I did a baseline for my go mods...I'm running SSIM portmatched to NWP Spacers + BOP, RL HFPC's, RL Y, MF CBE, AEM CAI, Nismo Sticker

How about...RL HFPC's, Y pipe, IM spacers + tune?

I just got a full Catback Exhaust system, and soon adding a CAI. I'm a noob, but my exhaust has a Y-pipe, is that any different from the Y-pipe y'all are talking about?

And these intake manifold spacers, I'm interested in them, does anyone have a rough estimate to what it would cost to have them installed? I just got my progress springs in the mail, but can't afford to have them installed till my next paycheck, most places are wanting $300-500 to install them. That's almost twice what I paid for them. Also, do I need to purchase the Camber screws?

No mods

CAI adds something to it, as I beat my dad in a '05 TL a bit more. I've got a 6-sp, so it makes it a bit easier.

I can't believe Beiber Fever hit this site. We should get back on track, yo!
