Just thought I'd share the message I got from RacingLine with you guys...

The bars are now their way to us from our fabricators and will be ready for shipping out to customers by Wednesday

FYI. I received an email from Joe that the bars are in stock. I ordered through their site eventhough it said out of stock..... The order was processed and I received my shipping confirmation today.

UPDATE. SITE NOW SAYS 30 in stock. so GET ON THAT!!!!

BOOM!!!

Just checked the website this evening and it says the FSTB's are in stock FINALLY!!!

I got mine & I can't wait for it to arrive!!! I've only had my car for over a month and it seems like I've been waiting for forever for these FSTB's to become available...

Oh no!!! I think I gotz tha early stages of da MOD FEVA!!!

I ordered the black FSTB too on Monday and I just received my confirmation email that my order has been shipped out today... 3 days later...

I was beginning to wonder about it myself until I saw this post. Hopefully you'll get your confirmation email shortly...

I was wondering who was selling the rear bar... thanks for reminding me! I'll have to hit him up for one since I've only used the FSTB in the past. I can only imagine the difference of having a RSTB will make!!!

Good luck with your mods! May they be worth more to you than what you paid for them!

I got the rear bar today and installed it. Very nice product, I have not test drove with it as yet. I uploaded some pics of the install in another thread. Hopefully I should get the FSTB next week.

Received my FSTB today. Ordered a black one and received a polished one, which is fine because I had second thoughts about the black one after I had ordered it. Only issue is that one of the nuts that holds the bar to the brace was missing, so I have to go try ot match it, but otherwise I'm very satisfied with the product & can't wait to install it this weekend, along with the grounding kit.

Glad you were able to get your rear bar installed - I hope it makes a noticable difference when you take it for a spin! I'll probably order one of KCMAXX's rear bars soon enough..

I received and installed my polished bar. The install was pretty easy but i had to go to a buddies to borrow a 8mm Allen wrench socket and 14mm deep socket to tighten it down.

I did have to bend the ac line bracket out off the way just like the directions suggest and it took a little bit of force to line up the bolts but overall an easy mod. Also well worth it. Could feel the difference almost immediately.

Installed this morning...

It took a bit more effort than I had anticipated, but I was able to use a bar and leverage it into place. It's a very good-looking bar!!!

I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it seems as though the hood is a bit more snug than beforehand and I'm noticing a very slight bend in the hood on the driver's side, but I'll pay closer attention to it when I have a bit more time. Also, I was able to find the missing nut - it was stuck to the bubble-wrapping. I'm glad it didn't scratch the bar up during shipping...

Looking forward to see how the drive in to the office feels this morning...

I'll take a couple of pics and post them later, but I won't lie - I thought that I might have to send it back for a minute because I thought I was sent the wrong mounting brackets...

What did you guys use to bend the AC line for clearance or did you bend the AC line bracket? going to try and install when I get home.

The bracket is kind of a zig-zag when you look at it from the side. I loosened the bolt holding it on and then flattened it out a bit with a pair of pliers. I did this with the ac lines attached. When I tightened up the bolt it lowered the lines the 1/2" -3/4" you need to get the clearance.

No problem. One other word of advice/suggestion. I put both brackets on first (loose), just like the directions said, but then couldn't get the bar to line up with the holes, so I ended up putting one side on first (loose), then attaching the bar bolts (loose), then was able to get the other bracket over the strut tower bolts. It's not hard but if your not careful you could mess up the threads on the strut tower bolts and then you'd be F'd. Good luck.

Installed the bar this morning. papasuede thanks for the advice on the AC line bracket that came in handy. Install went pretty easy took it for a test ride and can feel the difference. Had to trim the plastics that cover the struts.

Little to no issues. If you think you will have rubbing issues, do not let that dissuade you from buying the bar. Quite a nice mod for the money. It helps the suspension greatly, but my whole suspension is redone anyways so my car rides and turns like a go kart.

well i have no issues and ive had mine for over 3 months and others say it does rub so i dont know why some rub and some dont

I just installed mine and it doesn't rub. The bolts holes are adjustable on the brackets so if you don't have it adjusted properly I could see that it might rub. If you get one just make sure when it is installed you have it pushed all the way down before tightening the bolts.

Yes you have to trim the plastic.

trimming the plastic covers are a must and yes i do have slight rubbing issues, nothing major. i attached doublesided 3m tape attached to a piece of "sham-wow" onto the hood where the strut bar makes contact. had the bar for almost 2 years now.

hey guys i have a real quick noobie question whats the difference between the racingline FSTB and this Nissan Maxima Rear anti-roll bar, some say the anti-roll bar can go in the front, but can you even have an anti-roll bar in the back?

Since you admit to the "noob-dom"...I'll answer your question. The Racingline FSTB is a Front Strut Tower Brace. It attaches under the hood, to the top of the front strut towers...tying those two points together. The Progress rear sway bar/anti-roll bar goes underneath the car, in the rear, just forward of the fuel tank. It attaches to the underside of the car with 2 brackets with bushings. The ends of the anti-roll bar/sway bar attach to "endlinks" on either end.

The front strut brace eliminates flexing between the front strut towers, and the rear anti-roll bar helps keep the body of the car from "rolling" while making a fast turn. It keeps the body of the car "flatter" through the turn.
