Well, he was the guy that got IPCW to make them into a reality. Him and the other old school cats of the 6th gen community came up with the idea. For example, Jsmithsole and DeusExMaxima (<--first one to paint his headlights in the 6th gen community).
Anyways, yeah it's going to be cheaper on his site since he's the one that presented the idea to IPCW. He has the right to beat everyone elses price and at the same time raise theirs because of that. So, he holds a lot of weight when it comes to these particular tail lights. And yeah, they've been sold out for a little bit now but I'm sure he'll get some more in soon.

A cop can write a ticket for anything. I deal with DOT (department of transportation) all the time. "Interpurtation of the law" Is a ***** so you cant get out of a ticket even if your right. Gotta fight it in court and as long as the light "lights up red" it is legal. Amber in front, red in rear. Its much like the license plate law. You can back light the plate with any color you want as long as the illuminating color is a white light.

yeah, i've had many things thrown out in court.
I've totaled 14 moving violation tickets in my life. 8 of which stuck. i learned after my 3rd ticket i could fight them with a likely outcome. if you challenge the ticket and the cop doesn't come, its dismissed i've gotten rid of 6 tickets this way making my odds 50/50 so far. 2 tickets i've fought and won against the cop. the rest i changed my plea to "no contest" after my cop showed up (this is why cops don't always come, you will plea not guilty, set up a court hearing, your cop will come and it will be confirmed in roll call, and before the judge swears you in he/she asks if anyone would like to change their plea, they change their plea and the cop wasted his time with the supina) all you need to do is learn how courts operate and play the system. its like becoming a weekend lawyer. do your reading and learn how to system works. 1 of those two tickets i got thrown out on a technicality, the other i won fair and square.
I since sold one motorcycle and put a non-op on the second. i haven't gotten a ticket in 2 years in my car and im trying to keep it that way.
