Good choice, on the pepporoni digiorno. Red calipers looks good with your black on black. But it looks like you didnt unbolt calipers or brackets to paint them. Did you at least clean them really good?

Yeah i use the PD and clear coat and it came out good so it my not be a bad idea, i want to paint my calipers too but but with real paint , is it hard to remove them? is it hard to put back together? , i dont want to die once i put it back serious.

hahahahahaha yeah, i suppose thats a great cause for concern...

most of us spray the calipers while on the car. theres no real need to take anything off except the wheel.

Ok cool i think i am going to do that this weekend , i dont have anything else to do lol so what do i need to get to do it wild on the wheel ?

phatboislim 06-28-2011 05:59 AM

only reason i sprayed mine while it was off the car was because it was a new setup and was easier for me to do it that way...but i think on my beater ima paint while its on the car, just to clean it up a bit

like the look of the wheels, i'm not really liking the red color - i might have gone with the blk option on the calipers as it would have looked better IMO.

Not sure if jelly ....

looks good

DMAXI06 06-28-2011 02:35 PM

For the calipers I went to Pep Boys and got a red caliper painting kit, it came with spray cleaner and a little can of brush applied paint. The calipers look really really really good. (paint wise) just follow all instructions (wait times between coats) and clean them really well before painting

loslobos 06-28-2011 04:55 PM

looks nice!

KCMAXX 06-29-2011 05:50 AM

Looks like they need another coat or two.

Rods03Max619 06-29-2011 07:08 AM
