Rsprince89 Sep 15, 2011 07:30 PM

Because it's the same thing. Besides, it's low to the ground and in front. You will need to replace it a few times.

First of all you need to drop the bumper, there are two clips and a screw holding the fog light, you will need a heat gun or blow dryer, squeegee and water with soap, clean the lense real good, spray the water/soap over the vinyl and lense and use the heat gun or blow dryer(be veeery careful when you do that) use the the squeegee to get rid of the water and soap bubbles.....

in some cases generic laminate film is similar, but he offers direct one of a kind cut out templates for the exact application that you need.

you get what you pay for, and if you think u need to replace it that often then yeah i guess your better off getting cheapbay

I don't think it will need to be replaced often, I know. It's a low spot on the front of the car, if the plastic lens of the fog light gets all kinds of nicks, imagine what will happen to the film in a short time. So yeah, if you want it always looking sharp, you'll need to replace it once in a while. It's just a film that makes the color yellow or amber or whatever. What difference does it make if it's cheap or expensive? Same thing will happen to both but the logic here is to save some cash.

Ryaliu Sep 16, 2011 09:32 PM

I would rather buy yellow H11 bulbs and not worry about replacing the film when it fades or other kinds of weathering.
