Racingline HFPC's 1 Year Later

I have been really considering Racinglines HFPC since I want to be CEL free and relatively noise and rasp free from doing this over headers. I have a 46k motor that is going to replace my blown motor I have now. I figured I would ask members how has the experience been with them and how have they been holding up.

Theres no secret that Racingline is sometimes slow with customer service but I do have the FSTB and could not be more than happy with it. I also know of the 2 documented cases of them failing but coming from a vendors point I will say that just one bad review can cause a good product to drop in sales and I will give them the benifit of the doubt.

Thanks

i just put em on my car bought used from hero782 they are good so far. i did alot of research on altima forums as well i seem like the fail on people cars that are eating engine oil, gas entering the exhaust or timing issues. some people are been using them for over 2 years with no problems ask steve he has em on his 6.5 for a while now. i personally like them.

They been on my car for about 7 mo, no issues. They were already on my car when I bought it. I can't speak for HP claims since I never drove another 6spd 6th gen.

My fear is that they would burn out of someone was to run "rich" on them too long, I have seen where they have broken up, but no one or anything is 100% perfect.

I like the idea a lot, the question I have is: "What if they do burn out?" Can that High Flow Cat be easily swapped out with a new one? I haven't done a lot of research on them so I could be way off.

I've had them since they first came out. I've not had any issues at all with mine. Great product. However I've been told that you could delete the CEL with headers by running UPREV. I'm tuned with UPREV but didn't have the header CEL issue.

Wish I knew what car felt like before racing line precats. So I don't have anything to compare it to. Except my 02 but that was auto and I had wai, ypipe, im spacer, tmg adv, b.o.p.

My 04 feels at least as strong with wai, tmg adv, b.o.p, racing line precats. Ypipe is on the way and im spacer by June. Then I'll hit the track and see.

Nothing to do with the HFPC but I've bought from them in the past (Strut-bar and front and rear end-links V-2) when my rear end-link broke 2-3 months after buying, I emailed them and I was basically told they cant do anything about it. This was a while back and I don't think it was taz. Needless to say though, if you manufacture a product you should stand behind it. I still have the broken endlink on my car till this day. (If you see this Racingline, feel free to contact me. Ill send pics)

I do enjoy the cats but mine failed prior to the 1 year mark. For more details please see:

I've had no problems with mine and the high flow cats on my car were from the first batch. I'm confident when I say I was the 3rd or 4th person to have them on their car.
