Knocking/Flexing noise from Driver's Side
 

I started hearing a knocking noise whilst driving a few days ago. I hear it at low and high speeds, more so on inclines/declines, and I haven't heard it when the wheels are turned. The noise isn't there all the time though. I don't really hear it on smooth roads and it is a bit more noticeable over bumps but again, sometimes it's there and then it's not.

My dad and I took a closer look/listen and we managed to reproduce the sound by pushing against the fender and rocking the car. Here's a video, the noise you hear is the exact same noise I hear while driving:

Sounds like it's coming from the top of the strut or around that area, and it sounds like a sheet of metal would if you wave it in the air.

Thoughts?

Was your max on when that sound happens?
How do you duplicate the issue?

Yeah i hear it while driving. In the video the car was off. I was checking to see if anything was loose under the hood and while rocking the fender it made the same sound that you hear from inside the car. It's only on that side too.

Check your strut.
My max did that last summer, mine didn't sound as bad. Ended up replacing it with a Gabriel strut from autozone. Hope it helps
(jack up that side of the car and inspect where the strut goes up to the top of the fender)
*** the strut was rubbing against the strut mount

got a popping sound in that area on the passenger side. never found what it was.
ended up replacing the whole front end and still there, sheetmetal pop, forget it...
