Door Step Lights 2005 Maxima
 

Hey guys, quick question. How long are the interior Door Step lights supposed to stay on for, after the car is off and all doors are closed?

The foot well lights and domes shut off automatically after 10 secs or so....but the 4 Red Door Steps lights (1 on each door)....stay on. Then turn off after awhile...like 20 minutes or so.

Also are they supposed to remain on while driving around? Mine do.

No they should turn off like all the other interior lights

Did you buy the car from someone that might have modified something

No I purchased the car new in 2005....everything is original.

I double checked the door light switches and they do seem to work...as they turn off the foot well lights after 10 secs when I manually push each button for each door in.

Any ideas my fellow Max Men?
