Front Right Upper Motor Mount Doesn't Fit - Solution?

I purchased a motor mount from Autozone and the stud on the radiator side is too short and the spacing from the underside of where the center bolt goes and the bottom of the mount is too short compared to the factory (broken) mount. The height issue I could solve with a die grinder but the stud is pressed in and the nut won't grab. Dealer has one for $140 but I really don't want to pay that much when they are $30 shipped from RockAuto etc. This is the mount by the coolant reservoir etc. Thanks.

I would get the nissan mount and not have issues.

Aftermarket "speciality parts" (like not brakes, shocks, tie rod ends, etc.) always ends up not fitting and breaking....

I have been mad a few times re-doing a job 2 or 3 times with cheap parts. Now I try to get premium aftermarket as much as I can, or OEM....
Cheap parts are cheap for a reason. Because they are cheaply built.

True.

Though i agree, i found it hard to dish out 500 for the passenger side dealer axle when aftermarket was 180. I went with the aftermarket 5 months ago and no issues 'yet'

I ended up buying the factory Nissan part at $130 or whatever and it fit fine. The one I got from Rock Auto also did not fit and it appeared to be the same part that Autozone sells but much cheaper. The stud in question was a gold color on the aftermarket one such as zinc plated and the one on the factory part was more grayish such as galvanized, FYI. It is a pressed in part not threaded or I would have replaced it. Main movement is from the bottom mount though, fun fun that will be.
