Hi All,

First time posting, but I have been reading for some time now.

I am having electrical issues with my 2004 maxima....

My defroster/heated mirrors will not turn on.

Also, my climate control functions ok but my blower motor will not run at any speed. I have read on here that the blower motor amp going bad will make the blower motor stop running. Is that tied in with the rear defroster also?

I have check all the fuses at all three locations and found the fuses to be in working order.

I did install a new head unit in the car a few days before I noticed the issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update....

I installed a new blower motor resistor (90 bucks from auto zone).

I also installed a used climate control dash piece (70 bucks from a local rebuildable place).

I still have no rear defroster and no blower motor functions.

Also, my outside temp gauge reads -22.

Is there a relay or something that I am missing...it's getting darn cold here in the northeast!
