6th Gen Nu-Jak

I have issues with my (2004) SL. Engine misfires at startup in cold weather, but smooth's out after engine gets warm and idles at around 750rpm. I also have seen the SES (service engine soon) indicator light tripped by this condition, and then go out by itself. I replaced the spark plugs and it seemed to fix the issue, but as soon as the cold weather returned, the issue returned with it! A member in another forum offered this tip: Check the ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) that it is reporting the correct temperature. I would be grateful for any and all thoughts regarding this issue, Thank You... +

Regards,
Howard

Can anyone tell me where this sensor is located? Another observation of this issue is that the SES lamp sometimes blinks on and off...

Thank You
