HID's
 

Hey, I'm in need of some advice. My drivers side factory xenon bulb just went out (turned purple at first and then burnt out) and I'm sure my passenger side bulb is going to go soon, too. They both started flickering about two months ago, which I'm guessing is a ballast issue. My actual headlight assemblies are faded and old. I want to just get a new set and replace everything. Problem is, everywhere I look for new headlights, they only are to convert factory halogen models to HID and are incompatible with factory HID models. Is there a way I could get around this? I've included the link of what I would like to get. If they absolutely won't work, what other route could I go down? Thanks!

New housings with factory HID will cost you more. Have you thought about restoring the headlights? Some shops do it if you don't do it yourself. This way you keep your assembly and just buy d2s bulbs. Or you can buy new halogen assemblies and retro fit HID projectors. This will probably require you to bake open the headlight assemblies to swap the projector
