142K and need to replace Engine Mounts...

Hi Everyone,
I have 142,000 miles on my 2004 SE and just learned all engine mounts are shot and need replacing. Shop is offering 7.0 hours of labor to do all 4 and is willing to accepts customer furnished parts with no warranty (at this point why bother with a warranty?). Not sure if 7.0 hours is reasonable or not. I know they will probably beat the book with actual install time. Whatever I pay in labor is half the battle. The other battle is OEM vs Aftermarket.

All of the reviews I've read about Westar vs. Anchor vs. DEA are negative so I'm really bracing for the total i will be "forced" to pay for OEM parts.

Are these OEM Part numbers and prices accurate?

Front Mount w/electrical connection 11270-8J10A $225
Front Right Mount 11270-8J100 $178
Rear Firewall Mount 11320-8Y00A $244
Rear Trans Mount 11220-8Y000 $110

Anchor only charges $144 for all four mounts vs $567 for OEM.
Would be taking a big risk if i were to go aftermarket?
Also, after breaking the bank, would it be worth spending a few more bucks on motor mount inserts (MMI's) to help dampen and absorb most road vibrations?

Would really love to extend the life of this Maxima to 200 K miles
Any help/suggestions are appreciated...

Thx

James

I did the front and trans mount myself. Needed a shop to do the rear and the one on the top pax side was still good. I get all my parts from Rock and paid much less but can't remember the #.

Go with OEM mounts

I also have the 04 SE maxima, I went with the OEM mounts which my shop got a discount on:
$213 part #11270-BJ10A
$141 part #11210-BJ100

If you plan on keeping the car for a while go with OEM although it's gonna be a little pricy for all 4!

You can go aftermarket. I forget the sellers I went to for mine but I did all but the rear one. I may tackle it this year. Good luck. Personally I would change them myself save some money.
