buzzing noise reverse
 

About 6 weeks ago I bought a 2007 Maxima. Yesterday, when i put it in reverse, I heard a buzzing noise, something like an electric motor, it stops after about 10-15 seconds, and when I take it out of reverse. Any thoughts would be appreciated as to what this might be.

The buzzing was coming from the drivers side mirror. The button that makes the mirrors turn down in reverse was on, the problem is that the mirrors fontd turn down any more, the noise comes from the electric motor trying to turn them down

Haa, I was going to say that, but when you said buzzing, the description wasn't what I remembered. On mine it was important to make a couple tweak adjustments so that the mirror didn't hit anything when it was doing the auto down in reverse. In that where I wanted the mirror and where it needed to be were just a little different. Got it set and never had that problem unless someone moved the mirror out...

I will try adjusting my mirrors to see if I can get them to work properly when I put it in reverse.
