A/C electrical problems

I have a 05 SE with about 96k miles on it. Bought it for cheap back in August and it has its issues here and there but I need this one to be resolved ASAP. When I first got it, the A/c was working fine until one day I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. It wasn’t that hot of a day so I let it be. Later on, I went over a bump and the air magically turned on. The air was on and everything but i couldn’t change the temperature, the mode or even turn it off. The next day I turned the car on, the air doesn’t turn on and the buttons still don’t work. Atleast a month passed without me touching the buttons and again, the air just randomly comes on (but I still can’t turn it off or change the temperature). I opened up the center console and even unplugged that white connector band, and cleaned it carefully. The buttons and a/c still doesn’t work. Anybody have any solutions/suggestions?. Bearing the heat in the summer wasn’t that bad but it’s getting chilly now
(p.s All the other buttons on the center console work except for the ones that control the air).

So you have intermittent automatic climate control?
I would take out the control PCB and carefully re-solder all joints on it.
And for the buttons themselves I would clean them with PCB cleaner spray. Not sure what the design is, and how difficult is it to do that, if it is difficult, I'd replace the buttons if the above does not work.

Yeah it has automatic climate control. Where would i find that PCB? And also I noticed that the outside temperature reading on the info screen just says 20, no degree celcius or fahrenheit. And other times it will say its 131 degrees fahrenheit. It's not an issue with the screen because the time is always correct, so something is up with the climate control system
