Timing chain class action lawsuit settlement
 

I just received a settlement check for $450 based on my mileage at the time of repair. Not close to the $1600 spent, but something is better than nothing. Maxima has already been sold and now it is time to cash the check and move on from this saga.

Just exactly how did you go about claiming/receiving that settlement check?

Paid about $2K to have mine done a while back. (Had the water pump replaced at the same time.)

Mine was not repaired by a Nissan dealer, so am I not eligible because of that?

The class action lawsuit that I received a settlement check under applied only to Nissan owners from California and Washington. There may be another lawsuit back East, but I don't believe it covers your state. You can look at the following link to see how I had to qualify for the class action.
