2007 Max...P0507 issue..need some guidance

Need some guidance on searching for all possibilities to decipher what the P0507 code means. I've checked all my vacuum lines, PVC valve as well. I do have a small leak in the air box, though. What could throw the code often?

The FSM recommends a replacement of the ECM. The throttle body driver in the ECM is probably malfunctioning. On the other hand if you've had cause to clean the valve opening of the throttle body, maybe an idle air volume relearn could bring down the rpm to specs.

I cleaned the Throttle Body. Disassembled from the Intake manifold. Disconnected everything from the battery, both connections. Made it safe enough to know there wasnt any current flowing before I detached it from the connector and intake manifold.
I tried the relearn several times and it failed. But, I did drive the car, ran high then it went to 800 rpm...and the engine light went off.

I guess your ecm is still safe then. If the TB has not been impaired in any way it'll relearn with time.

I also have a plastic type rattling noise as well. The air resonator that is the final piece attached to the valve cover then to the air tube piece, may have a crack in it. Also,.the air box, where one of the snaps goes, of one of three, has broken off and I dont have a tight fit. Could that be part of the problem, too?

Yes, post MAF. I kept the PCV valve that came with the valve cover and bought a OEM PVC valve from Autozone. Used the PVC that came with the valve cover.

checked all the hoses, some have been replaced. The only one that wasnt was the hose that leads from the front valve cover to the resonator but I clasped that one down.

is it possible that if I missed a bolt to tighten down, could leak air due to the amount of preasure?
