Abs tcs brake and slip lights still on
i have an 05 Maxima se and I just last night replaced both rear abs sensors because I had the codes and lights on for it. Long story short the lights are still on and still when I turn my car on my abs does it’s self check indicating there’s still a problem. I hook the reader back up an get the same codes for the rr lh abs sensor and rr rh abs sensor. Does the tsb apply to this issue and if not what else could the problem be. I know the abs module is working because the problem is in the rear and the module does it self check. None of the codes that come up for the TSB are the codes I get. have someone with a scanner that does abs pull codes and I can further help ya from there

ok do this, first jack up the rear wheels and grab the tire at 12 and 6 o clock positions and shake the tire back and fourth, this will cheack bearing play if none, than with the wheel still jacked up spin the tire as fast as you can by hand and hear for any scraping, grinding sound. if ya hear it first remove and inspect brakes to verify its not pads and rotors. do this on both rear wheels, if its not pads and rotors and ya have play or scraping, change both rear hubs and both rear abs sensors. its easy I can tell ya how if ya need to. if you have no play or sounds than just change both rear abs sensors. do not GET CHEAP ONES from ebay thay suck. go for denso if ya can Nissan loves denso. change both than reset the abs light by clearing codes and drive. if light comes back on the abs controller has failed but ya need to make sure ya have good hubs and abs sensors first before ya can write the abs module off as bad
