first, try reseting the abs computer. do you have a scanner than can read live data?

Yes i do an I reset it and the lights stay on. When I’m driving with the scanner hooked up to read the sensors the front both work as they should but still get no reading from the rear. I did the tsb from Nissan to the new hubs as they came like the original did. New sensors also. I’ve done the battery disconnect I’ve done the ecu reset both with and without the scanner and all fuses are good. New parking shoes new pads new shocks struts etc... I’m trying to find the sensor harness wiring diagram so I can follow them. They go under the rear axle then into the car itself but where from there I have no idea.

If it was the abs module wouldn’t the front be out and not working either. My brakes aren’t squishy soft they have the normal brake feel in the pedal along with the height. The scanner says everything is good but the two sensors with the codes c1101 and c1102. No pending codes no dtcs nothing but those two

your abs control module can still fail on the electrical side. and the actuall brakes still function fine. but on a more simpler note. witch brand of sensors did ya get? some things its best to get denso, hitatchi or from Nissan them selves for these cars. I don't really trust orielly or autozone much. also on most cars the abs sensors are designed left and right. so ya can check the part number online however if there the same number than it wont be a issue there. Idea. find a known good speed sensor from another 6th gen maxima and install it on yours and see what it does. good way to test the sensor. its a magnet pickup sensor could be a poor designed sensor. it happens more than not

The abs sensors read fine in the front on the scanner when driving so I know the module has to be working. It could be cheap sensors but I very much doubt it. Before it came in to stay it used to only come on when it was wet out or when I went through a puddle. After a month or two it just stayed on. That’s y I’m thinking a wire break or something. But I’m willing to try to any other ideas to. Thanks for the help.

When I was doing hubs on my Quest, I bought the cheapest ABS sensors off the eBay and they worked fine.
Also, I figured I did not have to remove the rear sensors to replace the hubs, and they did not interfere. The front was a different story, and this is what I got the eBay sensors for. The OEM sensors rusted solid into the knuckles and had to be scraped out.
