No acceleration, RPM won't go above 2,500

2008 SL - won't accelerate - loud engine noise and RPMs won't go above 2,500. Just had bank 1 CAT replaced. Guy at Nissan said it was a bad MAF. Replaced it but did not solve problem. What else might it be?

my 05 has 3 cats. I gutted all three and fixed my issues.
