While driving loosing power, won't accelerate and then dies.
 

I have a 2004 Maximum SE manual 3.5L V6. I'm having a problem that no one seems to know what it is. The car starts up and runs fine for about 1 to 3 miles. Then all of a sudden it looses power and won't accelerate. We coast the car until it's off road. Then battery dies in the process and alternator isn't charging. We have already changed the alternator and battery, car is still having the same issue. Has anyone on here had this issue??? I just was told to replace the CAM sensors and it will operate right.

New parts do not necessarily mean they are working properly. I would investigate that alternator further. If the alternator is not running the car/charging the battery, then you have to sort that out.

New Alternator New O2 sensor( bank 1 upstream)new fuel pump as well as battery. Car still jerks then while car is in drive won’t accelerate just rolls like in neutral then eventually looses power and shuts down. All emergency lights come on. Has. P0420 code. I need help bad. Do I need a new Cat bad alternator? Talk to me bc I’m tired at this point
