Lightweight racing rims like OZ, Tenzo-R, Nismo come in at 18-20lbs, my guess for an OEM 18" is more like 25-27lbs

MY RIMS ARE HERE AND THEY ARE SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!

I can't wait to post pics, I took some immediately after I put them on Friday morning even though it was really ugly outside, gray and overcast it also did not help that it rained the day prior so my car was slightly dirty......But I put them on anyway yeahhhhhhhh!!! I took about twenty pics, when they arrived as I unpacked them, putting them on the whole nine, but I work nights and here at work our internet won't allow us to go to photobucket or any other picture based website to upload photos online. So I will have to wait to get home to post all the new pics of the sweet Max on some sweeter rims!!!

I also weighed both my stock 19x8.5 rims and my new Vossen 20x9 rims and suprisingly the weights were very comparable and not as light as I thought. The stock nissan rims and tires came in at a hefty 56.5 pds with my new larger aftermarket rims and tires coming in at 58 pds.

Granted all of this was conducted on my bathroom scale which is very acurate with my body weight I could not believe they were that heavy. From just looks alone it would seem that they would be lighter, I guess looks can be decieving.

Not to be a Hater but those first ones (black) are FUGLY, they look like Hubcaps

The second ones are much better, cleaner looking but could benefit the car much better if they were deep dish.

Awesome choices guys. Not so much on those Cardomain ones though. I'm looking to get a new Max in the spring when I graduate and get a job and some new wheels will be #1 priority.
But we are keeping my 5th gen and I would love some of the new 19's for it. So if anyone wants to sell either the 18's or 19's from the 7th gen, LET ME KNOW. I'm getting tired of the Z wheels on it now. Thanks

And get some pics up!!!

Not sure about getting the body kit just yet, I have one more MOD that I have to do this upcoming week that HAS to be done. I have been waiting for a shop to create a Interface Module for the new 09 MAX and it has finally happened. So I will be heading down to the alarm install shop tomorrow to order and pay for all the parts and schedule the install. It is a priority due to the crappy weather that we have here Missouri, it will be done!!!

Congrats on the rims, they look real good.
What's the mod you're doing and what is the interface module for (sound, nav, remote start, etc..)?

What a shame the next three or four months will be mostly winter. If that were my car, I would be cruisin' every day. But by the time you get home from work, it is probably getting dark. At least you can still show your baby off whenever you have a sunny weekend. I know you are feelin' good with those wheels.

Trust me I know I dread winter every single day..... :-( I am originally from the Island of Oahu, Hawaii.......probably thinking why the hell live in Missouri and I say thank you to Uncle Sam, I love being in the military, I just hate living in Missouri only due to the weather....... Oh well such is life I will just have to deal with it, stock tires will be going back on very soon :-(

looks good. Not really feeling the black one though.
Next, I think I would be contacting h&r or eibach to get rid of that infamous nissan wheel gap.

Sooo...1 org member posted pics of his 7th gen with rims and there's like 7 posts of the same pic from cardomain...and the thread is 2pages long. what's wrong with this thread?

Nice choice on the wheels for the grey one...thanks for posting your pics like the thread stated, not just pictures of wheels.
