I ordered one from the dealership yesterday.

$365 for the spoiler, weatherstrip, and wiring. They quoted me $100 to install.
Also told me Nissan was holding back orders until their stock was built up again?

Then my salesman told me about a local guy that does accessory work for the local dealerships that will install the spoiler at my place of business for $260. I just hope its a factory looking piece...

Had pretty good luck here http://www.spoilerworks.com/spoilers...axima/435.html

Came with the brake light, harness, bolts and a template type thing. Delivery took a week and a half. Paint matched as promised. Price was very fair.

This is the next thing on my list. I want a spoiler so bad! To me it makes it look soooo much better.

Props on the installs to you gentlemen as well! Making it look like anyone can do it.

Got mine for $109 on special,it was perfect both fit, colour match and had double sided tape (lot's of it)on the underside and 3 screws,so it's going nowhere.
It was super easy to install and I don't know why anybody would pay a stealer 400 plus to do this...take your time and don't be afraid to take it on.

Most of the online deals don't show my color? Crimson Black

Another reason I wanted someone reputable to do it is so they can have the liability.

I know that i could do it but for less than $100 more I can sit back and relax and trust someone else to handle it.

I need help with the wiring part. I saw that you have to splice into the 3rd brake light which isnt a problem, just want to know how to find it/which wire it is...?

you need to drop the top cover inside the trunk and go into car and twist out the 3rd brake light.remove the connection and drop the wire into the trunk, then you can tape, solder or use connectors to attach to the 3rd brake light

Just so yall know... I ordered a wing from autowingking from ebay on friday at about 10pm. I received it this afternoon around 2pm. All i have to say is that, that is GREAT turn around time! Wing looks great if it would stop raining I would install it but it always seems to be raining... I think I should trade my car in for a boat.

Gotta get a spoiler on my Max SV. That's about the only mod I MUST get. That chrome tape on the lower grill looks great too, but the spolier is sweet!

Hello ... i'm new around here so if i'm breaking some rules let me know. Anyway, I have a slightly used spoiler for 09 - 11 Max, it is Metallic Slate color code KBC. I picked it up off a guy who told me it was Dark Slate & now wont answer the phone ... anyway, i'm trying to get $50 + whatever it cost to ship it. If anybody is interested, send me an email and we can work something out. I can send pictures if needed ...

I don't know how y'all or if y'all got your spoiler to lay right on your trunk lid but the sides (wings) that sweep forward won't lay flush on either side... Everything else is perfect! It looks as if when molded they didn't take into consideration the curvature of the truck lid... I don't know. I have tried everything!

Where did you get yours from ?? I got mine from http://spoilerandwingking.com/cart/r...06814861134728
and it lays perfectly. I used some Double sided all weather automotive tape to hold everything down to the trunk so there is no rattling. Most of the spoilers i've seen from factory have about 1/8 " - 1/16 " of gap between spoiler & trunk lid on the most forward part of spoiler (left & right points). Anything close to that shouldn't be noticeable, unless you get down and look at it eye level.

Hey guys whatsup. I am having problems wiring my led tail light to the factory brake light. After all the hard work was done drilling holes into my trunk (measured twice) I thought I was in the clear when the holes lined up and the screws fit. Now I'm having problems running the wire through that left side hydraulic rubber cover. And I don't know where to plug the black and red wires from the led spoiler. Please help

When I bought my premium I made the dealer put on the spoiler included in the sale price. When I got home I popped out the third brake light from the rear deck, but the big hole in the carpet looks weak. How have some of ya'll dealt with this?

Just got mine installed from spoilersforless.com. It sits all the way flush against the decklid. Paint came out perfect also. I would recommend them if you are in the market.

how was the install? You have to drill holes for the light cable right?

I ordered the factory-style spoiler with LED brake light yesterday for my '09 SV.
I bought it from ebay motors' seller auto-spoilers-and-trim <<- link

I just received the UPS shipping info.

I will be putting together a video of the installation process and will post a link to it here when it's complete.
I'll be installing it later this week or this weekend, whenever the spoiler arrives, so the video should be up this weekend or early next week.

I'd love to see that video. Just bought my spoiler/harness/weatherstrip from the dealer for $258 after tax. Pick it up in a week and then I'll be installing it myself. Just read through this whole thread and there really isn't much help or advice for the install. Maybe it's just really simple and a write-up isn't needed. Lol. But if you've got that video, lemme know!

Could you post the name of that Dealer? Every other dealer I have asked is quoting over $400. Thanks.

rear spoiler

Just got my Genuine Nissan painted spoiler with harness and weatherstrip for $200. It also comes with new trunk shocks I guess due to the added spoiler weight. Funny thing is the instructions say nothing about a weatherstrip. Only additional part required is harness extension. The weatherstrip I got is for the trunk lid. The spoiler is taped and fasteners have rubber sealing washers. The weatherstrip is a waste. I think it is supposed to improve the trunk release due to extra weight. Dont buy it

I bought an Ebay spoiler, primed and had it painted locally.

Install: There is no tape on it, only 3 bolts hold it down. Did you all use tape all the way around the perimeter? or will spoiler still lift off the tape and make a bigger, uglier mess?

Does the tape squeeze out (like RV putty tape) and need to be trimmed?

What type of tape? Glazier's tape, like that black sticky stuff?

I think i can deal with brake light splice but worried about how to hold spolier down better and seal it off from leakage.
