Interior lights don't work!

I bought my '09 Max about three weeks ago and test drove it in the daytime and didn't notice that I didn't have any interior lights. All 4 map lights, both visors' lights, door lights (on bottom of door) and my trunk light were out. Glove box light works though! Anyway, I set up an appointment with the dealership and they concluded my fuses were good and they had to replace the computer module to fix the issue. So, the computer module was replaced and the lights worked...for less than 24 hours! I have another appointment tomorrow for the dealership to take another look. Anybody have any suggestions or had this problem? I thought it was weird how my dash lights, control panel lights, nav. system, glove box light, door control lights, etc. work but these others don't. Any ideas?

the only ideas i have for you is to stick with the dealer! Make sure they get you fixed up. Maybe since it was just 3 weeks ago that you got the car, maybe you can get your money back if they can't fix it for ya

Best of luck, keep us posted

Just got back from the Nissan dealership and they now believe the issue is a faulty wire harness. After they moved things around a bit with the harness, the lights started working again. So, it appears the new computer module might not have been necessary, but we'll see. Seems to me it would have been more cost effective for them to check/replace a less expensive wire harness first before they replaced the entire computer module???

It was easier for them to replace the computer module than to fumble around with a wiring harness that stretches all around the car behind the upholstery, etc. They did exactly what I would have expected, with exactly the results I would have expected. And got paid for both endeavors. Some things never change.

I'm not paying anything...I just want it fixed properly.
